  • Work Week: Begins at 12:01 AM Monday and ends the following Sunday.
  • Pay Period: Payroll is prepared on a weekly basis for hourly employees and will be paid on every Friday for the work completed in the previous week. Payroll is prepared on a biweekly basis for salaried employees and will be paid every other Friday.
  • Direct Deposit: Direct deposit of paychecks is available and encouraged.
  • Health Insurance: Effective the first of the month following 30 days of full-time active employment.
  • Type of Plan: PPO Network. Major medical is deductible with percentage and maximum out of pocket protection. Physician Services and Preventive medical is co-pay. Pharmacy benefit is co-pay. The premium is shared by the company and employee.
  • 125 Plan: Allows you to pay your portion of the medical premium before Federal taxes.
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) helps you to pay for eligible health care and dental expenses with before-tax earnings.
  • Life Insurance: Is provided to all employees at no cost to you.
  • AD&D: Accidental death and dismemberment insurance is provided at no cost to you.
  • Family Insurance: Additional life insurance may be purchased at group rates for you and your family.
  • Long-Term Disability: Provided at no cost to you.
  • Short-Term Disability: Insurance is available to purchase at group rates.
  • Workers Compensation: Insurance is provided.
  • 401K: Salary Deferral Retirement Plan is provided
  • ESOP: Retirement Plan in company stock is provided
  • Credit Union: As an employee of PECO, you have the opportunity to join the PECO Federal Credit Union. PFCU is an independent Credit Union owned and controlled by its members.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: This benefit is available to those who want to accrue credit toward a high school diploma, high school equivalency certificate, college degree, post college graduate degree, or professional certificate. Reimbursement will be provided for 100 percent of tuition costs and 50 percent of cost of books offered by accredited educational institutions.
  • Service Awards: Individuals will be recognized for accumulated length of employment in increments of five years with an award.
  • Discount Gym Dues: Offered through payroll deduction to the Mineral Wells Gym or the PPGH Physical Therapy & Wellness Center.
  • Holidays: Nine paid holidays
  • Vacation: Eligibility is after completion of one year of continued service. Ten days for 1 to 6 years; twelve days for 6 to 11 years and 15 days for 11 and above years.
  • Sick Leave: 4 days per year
  • Emergency Leave: Three days may be granted upon death in the family.
  • Jury Duty: Leave with pay will be authorized
